I don’t like Netanyahu. Netanyahu works for me, and he failed me. Repeatedly and disastrously, including after October 7. And yet every word @DouglasKMurray says here is true. There was never a hostage deal on the table with a “yes” from Hamas. The Biden administration, even as it backed and armed us, always protected the ayatollahs in the name of stability. Nothing can ever get better, not in Lebanon, not in Gaza, not in Iraq or Syria or Yemen, and not in any permanent sense for my own people, until that regime is gone. You don’t have to love Netanyahu to grasp that.
