Jees, I hope so. America is now probably one of the loneliest societies that has ever existed. Bring back religion just for its community-building power. Israelis are one of the happiest people in the world, despite all the troubles they face. It’s no coincidence that they also have the biggest families in the developed world and tightknit neighborhoods and communities. So even leaving aside the question of faith, America needs a restoration of the social structures that bind people together, make them responsible for each other, root them in localities and communities, and offer the kind of socialization opportunities that encourage marriage and ease the challenges of childrearing. Churches used to do that for most Americans. Those who still go to church today are happier for it. It would be great if they could do that again.

Most of the MSM hasn’t picked up on this thanks to its progressive blinders but there is a Christian revival going on in this country and it’s not Christian nationalism; it’s a heartfelt turn away from the secular, the basic human instinct for a belief in a higher otherworldly power. The left tried to replace religion with big government and look what it’s done to society and our culture. People see this. Truth be told, I’m an odd messenger of this movement because I’m pretty secular but this is happening— just watch professional athletes of all races praise the Lord.
