Gaza had enormous potential. Even under the Israeli-Egyptian blockade, it was economically better off than Cairo or Morocco. But Hamas wanted a war, planned the war to be as destructive as possible, then launched the war. And Gaza won’t be rebuilt as long as Hamas rules there.
