This is such a fascinating discourse. According to this guy, we're falling apart. Everything, all of it and all at once. Our military is teetering (ignore what just happened to Iran's regional empire). Our economy is in ruins (ignore our GDP per capita, which is higher than Britain's). Yes, Eilat Port was indeed shut down by the Houthis - but it was handling maybe 5% of our sea-based imports. The Houthi war had a greater effect on large parts of Europe than on Israel. And even our healthcare system is collapsing? Really? We have universal healthcare good enough to give us a life expectancy four years higher than America's and two years higher than Britain's. We're kinda famous in international institutions for the high quality of our healthcare system. (Which, by the way, costs something like 1/4 per capita compared to America's health expenditures. The system isn't just advanced, it's relatively efficient; Western nations could learn a lot from our healthcare system.) So what is this discourse? It's one thing to make the case that, I dunno, the war on Israel has turned the corner in some way, or that their victory is inevitable because of God or history's dialectic or whatnot. But to literally declare ridiculous untruths as catechisms and then stand around expecting them to come true -- is kinda how our enemies have been talking for a century. It hasn't worked out for them all that well. What drives this inanity? https://bird.makeup/@gunderground_tv/1905999958534140383
