If this was happening to mosques, including mosques that preach bad stuff or host bad people, nobody would call it peaceful or legitimate. So no, it’s not actually about Ben Gvir. He’s the excuse. And Christ, people, spare me your hurt feelings. Every damn synagogue in America has a cop car outside for every gathering. Go and look. I’ve visited dozens over the past year. It’s every. Single. One. When that’s been normalized in your society, you can spare me this pearl-clutching about a tweet. Because you’re faking it.

Jews don't need to be polite or nuanced, not if you just showed up at their synagogue. They need to walk right up to you and punch you in the face, because you're a vile bigot trying to intimidate them. Lubavitchers are famously kind and outgoing. You deserved worse.
