Hamas are getting ready to fight for Gaza. Not to fight Israel for Gaza, mind you. They’re preparing to fight against other Palestinians, those who want a different future for Gaza than the one Hamas wants to force upon them.

🚨BREAKING: Hamas is reconstituting its Executive Force, according to the source—an estimated 5,000 members—tasked, as they claim, with “maintaining security,” “preventing chaos,” and “restoring order and stability.” This Executive Force was originally established in 2006 by Hamas’s Interior Minister and senior leader, Said Siyam. It played a central role in carrying out the coup against the Palestinian Authority and was responsible for executing hundreds of Palestinians and injuring thousands. In 2007, following the coup, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas declared the force illegal and criminal.
