This is true. An Iranian state still ruled by the ayatollahs after this war is quite likely to become much worse, North Korea-scale totalitarianism and mass purges. Israel, alas, cannot single-handedly drive regime change. We're a small country. Our goals are the missile factories and stockpiles and the nuclear weapons program -- the things that directly threaten us. The most we can contribute to toppling the ayatollahs is this temporary destabilization of the regime. It's up to Iranians to seize the moment, to launch a march of millions a la December 1978. I'm not gonna lie. We hope you will. Because only you can.

🔷My greatest fear is this: If, after everything that’s happening, the regime in Iran survives, the Islamic Republic will carry out a genocide against dissidents and innocent civilians in Iran. The mullahs must be overthrown. The job must be finished. Amen to that.
