After several violent episodes involving the Pro-Palestinian protests at Yale, including one in which Yale Free Press editor-in-chief Sahar Tartak was stabbed in the eye with a Palestinian flag while wearing Hasidic Jewish clothing, Police have begun arresting scores of protestors. According to Yale's school guidelines, "protesters are barred from blocking access to building entrances and are considered trespassers if they refuse to leave once instructed to do so." Despite these rules, Yale had allowed the protests to continue until now. The escalating violence likely forced this decision.
