According to a new report released by CNN, reporters have corroborated the IDF's claims that small, precise munitions were used in the strike. They also confirm that munitions of that size would not have resulted in the deadly blast, meaning that the IDF was correct and the initial strike tragically set off a larger blast via Hamas's own munitions. Of course, it's a little hard to glean that from the headline "US-made munitions were used in deadly strike on Rafah tent camp, CNN analysis shows," which insinuates that Israel used US-made munitions when really the munitions were sold to Egypt and then given to Hamas. I'm sure the title was in no way purposely worded like that for political reasons. Surely.
