When reports of antisemitism, violence, and harassment against Jewish students didn’t work, rats and drugs finally did the job. Encampments at Canadian universities have finally been dismantled following a court ruling, and schools like McGill, Ottawa, and Waterloo have cleared these sites due to safety concerns. The camps, initially set up to "peacefully protest," quickly turned into hubs of harassment, drug overdoses, and rat infestations. At McGill, non-students and drug dealers took over, with protesters engaging in vandalism and violent clashes. University President Deep Saini noted that while free speech is valued, this wasn’t a peaceful protest but a safety nightmare. Universities are now left cleaning up the mess, facing damages and legal battles. Next time, maybe listen to Jews from the beginning, and don’t let these violent, unsafe and antisemitic encampments last for months?
