"I want to ram a sharp knife through the throat of every Jew I meet." That’s a quote from a bestselling author that a mainstream Belgian magazine allowed to be published today. In it, he stops his violent impulse by imagining an elderly man is Jewish, so he will feel bad and not stab him. He neglects to mention that two days ago in Holon, Israel, Rina Daniv, 66, was stabbed to death by a Palestinian terrorist on her morning walk with her husband, who was also gravely injured. There is so much real Jewish death. Yet random Europeans think solidarity with Palestine means daydreaming about—and inciting—even more. May Rina’s memory be a blessing, and may it never be forgotten.
