According to Agence France-Presse, a high-ranking source within Hamas stated: “The organization (Hamas) is ready for an agreement in Gaza after the ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah.” Hamas could have opted for a ceasefire on any of the last 418 days. They simply need to release the 101 hostages they have cruelly and illegally held since October 7th. Hopefully their isolation, without Hezbollah acting for them, will finally make this a reality.
