Why are so many countries and organizations hyper-focused on broadening the definition of genocide right now? Of all the things you could be focused on, arguing semantics doesn't seem like it should take priority. Why don't we put equal pressure on Israel and Hamas to agree to a ceasefire instead? I know the idea of holding Hamas to any sort of accountability is terrifying for some of you but I assure you the constant fear that Israelis and Palestinians are living under is much, much worse.
