A new study has shown that more Arab Israelis define their citizenship to Israel as the most important element in their personal identity than Arab Israelis who consider their religion or Arab identity to be the most important. Obviously certain things are more important for different people, so I hold no grudge for anyone who feels their religion or ethnicity defines them more, but seeing the rise in Israelis who feel pride in their country is an incredible feeling. I want every Israeli to love being in this country and to know that they are an essential part of our nation.
