Is Israel unhappy that the names have been changed? Well, yes and no. Of course, we want everyone home. To the families receiving the news that their loved ones are coming home now, it's a miracle. But at the same time, Dolev Yehud's children are probably devastated. Their precious aunt Arbel is not coming home tomorrow when they thought she would. I'm sure it reminds them of the day they learned that their father was not coming home. They waited so patiently just to learn he had died on the 7th. I think of those children and how they have suffered and want Arbel home as soon as possible. But I have seen the mothers and fathers of the female soldiers suffer too, begging for their daughters. And I don't want them to suffer. As much as I believe a deal is the right path, I can still acknowledge how disgusting Hamas's actions are—from the day 15 months ago that they kidnapped these innocent souls to today, as they use their release to torture us further.
