Every day since October 7th, Karina Ariev's elderly grandfather has walked to the high school she attended. There on the walls is a large picture of Karina, which her grandfather will stand in front of and talk to. A holocaust survivor, Karina's grandfather has known devastating tragedy. Yet Karina's light being missing from his life seems to hurt him the most. Starting tomorrow, he won't need to talk to a picture anymore. He'll have the real thing.
