Naama Levy's brother described her as a bit naive. He explained that the world was not as kind as Naama was, and perhaps she was unaware. Personally, she seems like the type of person who knows exactly how unkind the world can be, and works tirelessly to change that face. She's been involved in organizations that seek to unite Palestinian and Israeli youth, teaching them how to humanize one another and understand each other's perspective. As a child she thought it was important to do. When she got to high school, Naama began volunteering at a kindergarten for African refugees. Again, she was only a teenager and these were her priorities. There can be no doubt that Naama is a caring and kind soul. To think that someone like her has been forced to suffer in Hamas captivity is agonizing. That suffering will hopefully end tomorrow, and Naama can start to be treated the way she deserves: as kindly as she treats others.
