British-Israeli hostage Emily Damari and her mother spoke with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer this morning. Emily, who lost two fingers after suffering a gunshot wound on October 7th, revealed she was held in a UNRWA facility without care—just given one expired bottle of iodine. Emily and her mom urged Starmer to pressure UNRWA and the Red Cross to help the 82 remaining hostages who have received no medical treatment for 482 days. The fact that Emily, fresh out of captivity, has to spend her time begging organizations created to help people to actually help people is absurd.
