Shlomo Mansour, 86, was taken captive by Hamas gunmen who stormed his home in Kibbutz Kissufim on October 7. They beat him, handcuffed him, and dragged him toward Gaza. This morning, we learned the devastating truth: Hamas murdered Shlomo on October 7. He never made it to Gaza alive. His body is still being held by the terrorists. Born in Iraq, Shlomo survived the Farhud in Baghdad in 1941. He later resettled in Israel, spending most of his adult life in Kissufim with his wife of 60 years, Mazal, who miraculously escaped. A skilled carpenter, Shlomo also managed the kibbutz chicken coop for many years. He was known as a humble man with a big heart and golden hands, always crafting things for his grandchildren. He was deeply loved by his family and community. May his memory be a blessing 🕯️
