They had to watch Hamas’ propaganda video of Yarden crying after being told his family had been murdered. They heard the rumors, but nothing was ever confirmed. Then, they saw Yarden, starved and sick, paraded by his captors. And now, Hamas continues to torture them, one statement at a time. How long must their nightmare go on? Hamas lies, we know that. Even now, we have to wait for Israel to confirm whether the Bibas boys are truly dead. How twisted is that? How can some humans be capable of such prolonged, deliberate cruelty? Even monsters eventually relent, showing a flicker of empathy after spending months with their victims. Not Hamas. They’re not animals. They are worse than that. They are human beings who make the choice to act worse than any animal on this planet, despite knowing better.
