BREAKING: official statement following the completion of the identification process of the remains Hamas delivered to Israel today. The National Institute of Forensic Medicine in cooperation with the Israel Police have informed the Bibas family that their loved ones, Ariel and Kfir Bibas (of blessed memory), have been identified. According to assessments by professionals, based on available intelligence and forensic findings from the identification process, Ariel and Kfir Bibas were brutally murdered in captivity by terrorists in November 2023. The identification process also determined that the additional body received was not that of Shiri Bibas and did not match any other hostage. It is an unidentified, anonymous body. This is a severe violation by the Hamas terrorist organization, which, according to the agreement, is obligated to return four fallen hostages. We demand that Hamas return Shiri along with all our hostages. Ariel Bibas (z”l), four years old at the time of his death, and Kfir Bibas (z”l), only ten months old, were kidnapped from their home in Nir Oz along with their mother, Shiri Bibas. Their father, Yarden Bibas, was taken earlier while trying to defend them. Yarden was returned as part of the hostage release agreement on February 1, 2025. We share in the deep sorrow of the Bibas family during this unbearable time and will continue to do everything in our power to bring Shiri and all the remaining hostages home as soon as possible.
