Berlin police are investigating after a man was stabbed at the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe, a Holocaust memorial. The victim’s identity has not been released and there is no known motive yet. It feels symbolic though, doesn't it? We try to mourn our dead, and more blood is spilled. There is no rest for us. Our babies come home in coffins, and they rip down their wanted posters. Our memorials to the 6 million Jews slaughtered are vandalized with genocidal symbols, and it becomes unsafe to even go pay our respects. It's exhausting.
