Air Canada, all you have to say is that this was a “display issue” with the interactive on-flight map? No public apology to Israelis? No outrage about this distortion? No strong condemnation? As a Canadian company, you should understand more than most right now how it feels when someone invalidates your existence and disrespects your country. Imagine if Canadians opened a flight map and over the country it read “51st State of the United States of America”. How absolutely livid would you be? “Issues” like this are not small and cannot be normalized. Little by little the truth continues to be altered, and people continue to lead based on anger, aggression and misinformation. We need to take serious action not to let incidents like this happen casually.
