Ziv Abud, the fiancé of returned hostage Eliya Cohen, dressed in a yellow dress on Purim last year with a sign reading: “My fiancée is a hostage in Gaza.” A year later, he is home. Ziv writes on Instagram: “Purim last year... Full disclosure, I asked God not to let me go through another Purim without Eliya - because I no longer have the mental strength to deal with another performance like this. And thank God I don't have to deal with it. Because Eliya is here! Sorry to the other families. That you are still living this hell. Forgiveness 💔 And this is the crazy part: Most of the hostages that I decided to put on the front of my dress had a direct connection with Eliya in the tunnels and during captivity.”
