I hate when Free Palestine protestors call this a senseless war because they are so close but they just fundamentally misunderstand why. This war is absolutely senseless. Hamas should never have slaughtered so many civilians or broken international law by taking them hostage. Now Gaza is a warzone, and for what? Jews have lived in this land for thousands of years. We aren't going to dismantle the only Jewish state because some hateful people can't get over our existence. But the Free Palestine people can't blame Hamas, even when Palestinians themselves do, because they've bought into the propaganda. It's idiotic.
