On this Yom Hashoah, I’m thinking about my Grandma Kamisa and Grandpa Benyiamin who were sent into forced labor camps by Nazis in Tunisia. The horrors of the Holocaust in Africa are rarely acknowledged, let alone discussed. Every day I am proud to be a grandson of Holocaust survivors, and to refuse to be erased by Nazis or anyone else.
