Calling out antisemitic hate has nothing to do with anything aside from antisemitism. "But I want the violence in Gaza to end!" That's great, so do I! And calling out antisemitic hate won't undermine that position. "But I have criticisms of the Israeli government!" That's great, so do I! And calling out antisemitic hate won't undermine that position. "But I want Palestinians to live in peace!" That's great, so do I! And calling out antisemitic hate won't undermine that position. In fact, even if you have the most extreme views on the conflict, calling out antisemitic hate won't undermine your position. Unless your position is antisemitic at its core.
