Fires are still burning across the Jerusalem mountains and Gaza envelope in Israel. The winds are so intense that the annual Independence Day celebration has been canceled (the last rehearsal will be broadcast instead), and authorities are urging people to avoid visiting cemeteries in Jerusalem and the surrounding areas. I am praying for safety for all those in danger from the fires, and for those who have been wounded so far 🙏
