LIES EXPOSED: The Midde East Monitor reported yesterday that released hostage Mia Schem said she felt safer in Hamas captivity, after Schem came forward about how her personal trainer raped her. The shocking story then reverberated around Free Palestine social media. The only problem? It was a total lie. The Maariv report that Middle East Monitor quoted was a summary of the antisemitic hatred prompted by Mia’s brave choice to come forward about her assault. The quote in the headline wasn’t Mia’s words, but her haters’. Not listening to Israeli women’s accounts of assault in Hamas captivity is one thing. But claiming that her tormentors’ words are her own is another. The only time this crowd pretends to listen to Israeli women is when they lie about what they have to say. That should tell you all you need to know.
