“She was always smiling and gave all her strength, always there for others” Tzeela Gez, 30, and her husband were on their way to the hospital to have their baby last night. Tzeela was nine months pregnant. Tragically, she never made it: A terrorist shot at them, and while doctors were able to save the baby, Tzeela succumbed to her wounds. It doesn’t matter your politics. A newborn baby is fighting for his life, his mother stolen before they could even embrace for the first time. Those are the facts. No context can change that. Tzeela was a trauma therapist, and a mom to three kids. “Even a small smile is spreading light.” She wrote that once, in a post a few months after the October 7th massacre.
