Why does Israel feel safer for Jews, even in the middle of a war? Because if I’m stabbed in the street in a terror attack, no one will call my killer a “resistance fighter.” No one will cheer. No one will justify it. The whole country will call it what it is: terrorism. And I know, without a doubt, that Israel and its people will have my back. That’s why so many Jews feel safer there, even when missiles wake us at 3 am, even with terror attacks every other day. Safety isn’t just about danger. It’s about knowing you won’t be blamed for your own murder.
