Hamas spent months accusing Israel of starving Gaza. Now, it’s threatening Gazans with being called “collaborators” if they accept food. A new Israeli-American aid system launched yesterday to deliver food straight to civilians, cutting Hamas out. That’s a problem for Hamas, which has been stealing aid and reselling it at outrageous prices to its own people. So instead of letting Gazans eat, Hamas ordered them to refuse the food, calling the system a violation of “international law” and a tool for Israeli “intelligence.” Hamas would rather starve Gaza than lose control.
