She survived, but the baby didn’t. Sujood Abu Rashed. A woman driving with her husband and baby. Shot at by Hamas. The woman died, and the husband ran with the baby to bring it to safety. Fatima Alttalaqat. These women are Jewish, Arab, Israeli, Palestinian. They lived in Israel and the West Bank. The common denominator? Hamas attacking the most vulnerable—mothers, pregnant women, and babies. And these are not just random mistakes. Hamas celebrates them. These are their targets. It doesn’t matter your politics. We should all say their names. We should all agree Hamas’s actions are despicable. Isn’t that obvious by now?
