The bereaved mother of a Nova massacre victim applied to adopt a baby with a rare medical condition in need of a family, writing: “I lost my perfect child at Nova. I have the financial and practical ability — and above all, I have room in my heart and in my home for this baby, to give them a good life, and they will fill a bit of the emptiness in my heart. That is not our goal, but it’s a gift that may come out of it. These arms long to embrace new life." Israelis are grieving, but what is grief if not love with no place to go?
