Pausing my usual geopolitical content for some reality TV chaos— because apparently, even reality TV can expose the hypocrisy of the anti-Israel crowd. The internet is losing its mind because a Jewish Canadian guy, Elan Bibas, and a Palestinian American woman, Huda Mustafa, kissed on Love Island. Suddenly, the same people who never shut up about “liberating Palestine by any means necessary” are furious that a Palestinian woman made her own choice— and it happened to involve kissing a Jew on TV. Now we’re watching so-called “anti-apartheid” activists demand to know how producers could “allow” such a crime of a Palestinian woman CHOOSING to kiss a Jewish guy. Spoiler: It was never about freedom for Palestinians, it’s about policing what they do, and yes, who they can love. Funny how their activism melts away when actual equality appears.
