I am heartbroken at report by the Islamic Regime in Iran that they executed Jamshid Sharmahd, a German citizen who lived in the US for many years. My condolences to @GazelleSharmahd who fought so hard to save her father. We call on Germany & US to respond firmly to this murder.

Today, the Iranian regime executed U.S. green card holder Jamshid Sharmahd, who lived in Los Angeles for over two decades. This could have been me. Listen to his daughter on 60 Minutes. I wish the U.S. hadn’t left him behind in their prisoner swap. 💔💔
