“The humanitarian and security situation in northern #WestBank has deteriorated severely,” UNRWA @GRFriedrich tells @BBCNews. “In #Jenin camp, home to over 20,000 residents, nearly all have been displaced. Ongoing violence has forced us to suspend schools and health services for thousands.” The large-scale military operation has led to escalating violence and displacement. UNRWA is working to provide food, cash assistance, and essential items, but access remains extremely difficult amidst hostilities. Broader tensions in the West Bank threaten the fragile #ceasefire in Gaza.
