The war of narratives continue. Circulating unsubstantiated claims to undermine @UNRWA: a lifeline for 2 million people is ongoing. Such claims are threatening the lives & wellbeing of UNRWA staff across the #Gaza Strip & the occupied West Bank. Dehumanising & polarising statements further deepen people’s suffering. They divert attention from the humanitarian crisis & the immense needs of people impacted by over 1.5 year of a systematic destruction of life. This is propaganda. It aims at intimidating + fostering a hostile atmosphere to silence voices showing the ugliness of this brutal war. Words & statements are a responsibility. Those using dis-information as a weapon of war must be held accountable.
