Look, “pro-Ukraine Republican” defends Trump turning on South Korea for the country where children are fed to guard dogs as a form torture and entertainment. Also, 50,000 North Koreans are soon to be in Ukraine. Odd. 🤔 https://sg.news.yahoo.com/dogs-ripped-kids-pieces-n-korean-camp-ex-040729519.html

In the clip below, POTUS is 🎯 . I commented yesterday on my concern about adjusting our military posture and cooperation without significant concessions made by Pyongyang. And Seoul’s drift toward Beijing concerns me. But refusing to stand with the United States against Iran’s nuclear ambitions concern me too. Alliances cannot simply be about what America is obligated to provide when an ally is threatened. There must be an expectation of strategic reciprocity. The United States and South Korea share a long and consequential history there - forged through war, sacrifice, and decades of standing alongside one another other. Free nations either stand together against nuclear proliferation, wars of aggression, and authoritarian powers increasingly working in concert, or eventually we will confront those threats alone and fail together. I want South Korea firmly inside the American alliance system. But that alliance has to mean something in both directions, and Washington is right to expect more from Seoul.
