Nassim, the historical context is important, but it can not be used to argue for such massacare. When Jews discuss it, they do so because it is the darkest day in their history after the Holocaust. When pro-Palestinian folks (including you) discuss it, they allude to the overall conflict rather than the single incident itself because there is no justification for such a massacre.
