To all my fellow Pro-Palestinians who will criticize me for saying this, imagine a situation in which UNRWA workers attack your country, kidnap, rape, and kill your citizens. Yet, people beg you not to intervene. It's hard to admit this fact, especially with the current humanitarian situation in the Strip, but this can't go on for eternity; there are many ties between Hamas and the organization. I used to believe that staff reforms could solve the problem and made numerous excuses to myself for needing this organization to continue delivering humanitarian aid to those in need in Gaza. Still, given the time it took UNRWA to carry out these reforms (at least a year) and not doing it, and the fact that they covered many Hamas members and warehouses, it is concerning. Other institutions, including the World Food Programme (WFP) and the World Health Organization (WHO), should be pressed further to take action to alleviate the humanitarian situation in the Strip https://bird.makeup/@unrwa/1850994640318558348
