The sisters of Osama Al Mishal, one of the men executed by Hamas for his work with the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, posted the following testimony on Facebook: “A group of Hamas members pulled them off the bus, tied them up, and opened fire without asking a single question. Even after they were transferred to the hospital, Hamas operatives followed them there, prevented the doctors from treating their wounds, and encouraged others in the hospital to beat them while they were still alive.” What this account reveals is not an isolated act of brutality, but a glimpse into the rotting structure of Hamas’s authority. This is the reality of a group that claims to speak for Palestinians while systematically silencing them through violence, paranoia, and public executions.
