Apocalyptic image of Russian strikes near Odesa from a local beach. As I said in my Expresso newspaper interview, the Ukrainian and Russian attacks on ships and ports already disrupted their grain exports by sea. But Ukrainian grain exports are much more affected. Russia also struck Danube ports and bridges leading to Danube, which have been used by Ukraine to reroute some of its grain exports. The Black Sea was the main export route for Ukrainian grain, which is also a major export item.
