I've had people comment that I'm hurting PauseAI US's interests to refuse gifts. Well, if any of you Anthropic or OpenAI millionaires needs to donate to @pauseaius, you can do it anonymously with no strings attached. We will not accept money that gives you power over the mission or compromises it. If you want us to have the money to assuage your conscience, you'll have to do it without having control over us or using us to launder your image. If these people won't give anonymously, that just goes to show you their motives aren't pure.
