What's for lunch at Chef Hamada's Restaurant in Deir al-Balah, Central Gaza strip? 6 different styles of shawarma, prices ranging from 17 shekels ($4.60) to 30 shekels ($8.10). 4 types of grilled chicken, prices ranging from 30 shekels (wings) to 60 shekels (prob price per kg). Rice is available every day. The menu doesn't mention salads, so it's either included, or you have to bring your own, like Sara did last week. Chef Hamada also show us the special kitchen of his restaurant that supplies to organizations and charities funded by donors. Sara and her friend went out to eat in South Gaza in wartime. Appetizer: Yogurt for 4 shekels ($1.07). Then on to the shawarma restaurant. The menu is hand-written. Main courses 20-30 shekels ($5.37-$8.06). Salads 3-10 shekels ($0.81-$2.69). Then to another place for dessert - basbousa and knaffeh and then slushies to cool down. (The ketchup and pickles weren't available at the shawarma restaurant. They bought them outside) TikTok timestamp: 6 days ago #TheGazaYouDontSee Link in 1st comment
