@Eyalo365: In Israel, there is a total lack of understanding of how Hamas finances itself. I still hear nonsense like "Iran is 70% of Hamas's funding" (Yaron Blum on the other day with Oded Ben Ami - Israeli veteran TV presenter - JP). It is not for nothing that I mentioned in a number of interviews and articles last week how, due to a special coincidence, we learned that 10% of the employees of the WCK organization are Hamas members. An organization that was introduced into Gaza only this year by Israel, already contains 62 Hamas members (out of 584 employees hired this year alone). From my distant past experience, I assure you that a significant percentage of its employees are relatives of Hamas members. Hamas is a mafia and a clan business: one brother in the military wing, another brother in the police, and they make sure that the sister works at UNRWA, the cousin with a non-combat profile will be a driver for an aid organization and the uncle gets a government job, another cousin is a "journalist" for Al Jazeera, and the grandmother is on the list of aid recipients. What we still don't understand is how much the PA continues to fund Hamas. It has done so for years. Even when, at times, an open conflict arose between them and Mahmoud Abbas withheld salaries (which led to the Qatari money suitcases). So here's an example of European money, which is not even channeled to the PA but to a semi-governmental fund for urban development. It's only $3 million, but there are lots of similar projects. This fund is issuing a tender for (I'm not kidding:-) "Consulting services - social activity for a green Gaza and preventing climate change." What are the chances that the Hamas government in Gaza will manage to screw its people or their relatives into the recipients of this Belgian grant. In my opinion: 100%. Long live the climate in the "green" Gaza. Thank you to the Belgian government for its contribution. Multiply this story 200 times and you'll see how Hamas is funded. Not just from Iran (Iran is, in the extreme case, 5%-10% of Hamas' funding). בישראל יש חוסר הבנה טוטאלי כיצד חמאס מממן את עצמו. אני עדיין שומע קשקושים כמו "איראן היא 70% ממימון החמאס" (ירון בלום שלשום אצל עודד בן עמי). לא סתם הזכרתי בשבוע האחרון במספר ראיונות וכתבות כיצד, בגלל צירוף מקרים מיוחד, נודע לנו כי 10% מעובדי ארגון ה WCK הם אנשי חמאס . אירגון שהוכנס לעזה *רק השנה* בידי ישראל, כבר מכיל בתוכו 62 חמאסניקים (מתוך 584 עובדים שנשכרו רק השנה). מנסיון העבר הרחוק שלי אני מבטיח לכם שעוד אחוזים ניכרים מעובדיו הם קרובי משפחה של חמאסניקים. חמאס הוא מאפיה ועסק חמולתי: אח אחד בזרוע הצבאית, עוד אח במשטרה ודואגים שהאחות תעבוד באונר"א, הבן דוד עם פרופיל לא קרבי יהיה נהג באירגון סיוע והדוד מקבל משרה ממשלתית, בן דוד נוסף הוא "עיתונאי" באל ג'זירה והסבתא נכנסת לרשימת מקבלי הסיוע. מה שעוד לא מבינים אצלנו זה עד כמה הרש"פ ממשיכה לממן את החמאס. היא עשתה זאת שנים. גם כאשר לעיתים, נוצר בינהן סכסוך גלוי ואבו מאזן עצר משכורות (מה שהביא למזוודות הקטאריות). אז הנה דוגמה לכסף אירופאי, שמוזרם אפילו לא לרש"פ אלא לקרן חצי ממשלתית לפיתוח עירוני . זה רק 3 מיליון דולר אבל יש המון פרויקטים דומים. הקרן הזו מוציאה מכרז למען (אני לא צוחק:-) "שירותי יעוץ - פעילות חברתית לעזה ירוקה ומניעת שינוי אקלים". מה הסיכוי שהשלטון העזתי של חמאס יצליח להבריג לתוך מקבלי המענק הבלגי הזה את אנשיו או קרובי משפחתם. לדעתי: 100%. יחי האקלים בעזה ה"ירוקה". תודה לממשלה הבלגית על תרומתה. תכפילו את הסיפור הזה פי 200 ותראו איך חמאס ממומן. לא רק מאיראן (איראן היא במקרה הקיצוני 5%-10% מימון החמאס) רוב רובו של מימון החמאס הוא יכולתו לנתב לעצמו כספים שהעולם מזרים לרש"פ ולעזה..
