As you probably know, the new aid distribution system in Gaza is expected to commence in a few days time. @BenTzionMacales explains how it will work: "An announcement was made that the four aid distribution points in the Gaza Strip will be operational starting Sunday (this has since been delayed - JP). 3 points were established in the area that used to be Rafah, between the Morag and Philadelphi corridors. Point 4 was established between the Netzarim road and the central camps, on the Salah ad-Din road. All 4 points have the same characteristics: - The distribution complex with two entrances on the same side, an entrance and an exit. - One entrance on the other side. - An internal boundary wall connecting the entrance and exit on the same side. - Earth embankments delimit the entire complex - A large area between the boundary wall and the rear entrance. I estimate that the aid distribution will work as follows: 1. The family representative will approach the entrance road to the distribution center after being checked at the entrance. The access road is long in order to accommodate the large amount of population that will be waiting in line. 2. The representative will be limited in movement by the supporting wall, and will approach the distribution point. 3. Once received, it will move to the exit route back to the population centers. 4. The delivery of the aid kits will be carried out from a rear route, by trucks. The trucks will unload the cargo in the open area behind the separation wall. 5. The aid kits will be transferred from the unloading area to the families' representative. All of this activity will be carried out with the help of a private American company. איך כנראה תתבצע חלוקת הסיוע ב-4 הנקודות? יצאה הודעה כי ארבעת נקודות חלוקת הסיוע ברצועת עזה הולכות לפעול החל מהיום, אך במהלך השבת דווח כי הפתיחה תידחה להמשך השבוע. 3 נקודות הוקמו במרחב שפעם היה רפיח, בין ציר מורג לציר פילדלפי. נקודה 4 הוקמה בין ציר נצרים למחנות המרכז, על ציר צלאח א-דין. כל 4 הנקודות עם אותם מאפיינים: - מתחם החלוקה עם שני כניסות מאותו צד, כניסה ויציאה. - כניסה אחת מהצד השני. - קיר תוחם פנימי המחבר בין הכניסה והיציאה באותו צד. - סוללות עפר תוחמים את כל המתחם - שטח גדול בין קיר התחום לכניסה האחורית. אני מעריך שחלוקת הסיוע תעבוד כך: 1. נציג המשפחות ייגש לציר כניסה למרכז החלוקה לאחר בידוק בכניסה. ציר הגישה הוא ארוך בשביל לקבל את כמות האוכלוסיה הגבוה שתעמוד בתור. 2. הנציג יוגבל בתנועה בעזרת הקיר התומך, וייגש לנקודת החלוקה. 3. ברגע שיקבל, הוא יעבור לציר היציאה חזרה למרכזי האוכלוסיה. 4. אספקת ערכות הסיוע יתבצע מציר אחורי, על ידי משאיות. המשאיות יפרקו את המטען בשטח הפתוח שמאחורי קיר התיחום. 5. ערכות הסיוע יעברו מאזור הפריקה לידי נציג המשפחות. כל הפעילות הזאת תתבצע בעזרת חברה פרטית אמריקאית. זאת כאשר כוחות צה"ל יבצעו את ההגנה המרחבית, לניהול בטוח של החלוקה. צילום הלווין: @avischarf
