Some longer-term predictions: 1. Gaza, which currently dominates the news, will be hardly remembered in 20 years. 2. October 7 will be widely remembered in Israel, but not so much elsewhere. 3. Israel will be an issue of moderate to minor interest in 20 years, as the Western world deals with internal disintegration and/or massive global conflict.
