Reality check: If Israel could take down the Iranian regime, it would. If Israel could eliminate every last Hamas terrorist, it would. Some things are just very hard to achieve, or come with very high costs. Looking at what’s realistic, Israel’s achievements are absolutely tremendous. It wiped out the Hamas/Hezbollah leadership and much of their arsenal. It destroyed major chunks of Iran’s nuclear and missile program. It largely shattered the Iran axis, which hardly functions now. All of this was done despite suffering the Oct 7 disaster. Overall, very impressive.
