@HeribertBerger @jburnmurdoch The UK’s PISA exclusion rate was 7.6% against an OECD target of 5%. Over 50% above the target, and up from 4.9% in 2022. And the pupils missing from the sample were disproportionately SEN and disadvantaged. Go figure.

@agitbackprop @jburnmurdoch A stable PISA average doesn’t prove English children are unaffected. PISA measures a narrow slice of attainment, averages can hide a worsening lower tail, and the UK’s 2025 exclusion rate exceeded OECD tolerance. Teachers & universities are reporting deterioration for a reason.
